Study Eligibility
It depends entirely on the country, the institution and the course. A competitive WASSCE aggregate opens more doors than a weak one, but there are legitimate routes at almost every level — including foundation and pathway programmes designed for students who do not yet meet direct-entry requirements. Bring your results to a consultation and we will tell you honestly which options are genuinely open to you.
Often, but not always. Some institutions accept WASSCE English at a specified grade as proof of proficiency, and some run their own internal assessment. Others require IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or Duolingo. The requirement is set by the institution and sometimes separately by the immigration authority, so both need checking. We confirm the exact position for each institution on your shortlist before you pay for a test you may not need.
Most major study destinations allow eligible international students to work a limited number of hours during term time, with more permitted during vacations. The exact allowance, and whether it applies to your visa category, is set by each country’s immigration authority and changes periodically. Treat part-time work as help with living costs, never as your plan for paying tuition — visa applications are assessed on whether you can already fund your studies.
Yes, but they are competitive and rarely cover everything. Partial tuition awards and merit discounts are far more common than full funding. The best odds usually come from applying early, targeting institutions where your profile is strong rather than borderline, and meeting every deadline. We will screen what you are actually eligible for rather than encouraging applications that have no realistic chance.
Visa Processing
Processing times are set by each embassy or visa centre and vary by season, category and current demand. Peak periods before major intakes are consistently slower. Because published times are indicative rather than guaranteed, we plan backwards from your intake date with a deliberate buffer, and we tell you the current published time for your route at the point you apply rather than quoting a number that may already be out of date.
No, and you should be cautious of anyone who says they can. Visa decisions rest solely with the immigration authority of the destination country. What we can do is make sure your application is complete, internally consistent, properly evidenced and submitted on time — which is where most avoidable refusals come from. Any agency promising a guaranteed approval is either misinformed or misleading you.
We go through the refusal notice with you and identify the stated ground. Depending on the reason and the country, the options may include an administrative review or appeal, a fresh application with the weakness corrected, or a deferral to a later intake. Embassy fees already paid to a government are generally not refundable by anyone, including us — that is worth knowing before you apply.
Each destination sets a minimum covering tuition plus living costs for a defined period, and most also require the funds to have been held for a minimum number of consecutive days before you apply. That holding period catches people out more than the amount does. We give you the current figure and timeline for your destination early, so the money is in place well before submission.
Flights & Bookings
For international travel, several weeks to a few months ahead usually gives the best balance of fare and availability, and travelling outside peak periods helps considerably. Students are a special case: do not book a non-refundable ticket before your visa is decided. We will normally advise holding a flexible or refundable option until your outcome is confirmed.
Yes. Hotels, apartments, airport pickup and ground transport can all be arranged alongside your flight, which is usually the point — the pieces need to connect. For students we can also arrange student accommodation and arrival pickup as part of pre-departure setup.
Payment options and terms are confirmed with you in writing before any booking is issued, along with exactly what your payment covers. Always insist on written confirmation of what you have paid for — from us or from any agency.
Changes & Refunds
It depends on the fare rules or hotel policy attached to your specific booking, which are set by the airline or provider rather than by us. Some fares allow free changes, some allow changes for a fee, and the cheapest are often entirely non-refundable. We will tell you the rules that apply before you confirm, so the choice between a cheaper fare and a flexible one is yours to make knowingly.
Refunds follow the terms of the underlying booking or service, which are confirmed to you in writing at the time. Third-party charges already paid on your behalf — embassy and visa-centre fees, institution application fees, non-refundable airline fares — cannot be recovered once submitted. Ask us for the written terms before you commit to anything.
Ask us for the written terms covering your specific booking before you commit — we will put them in writing every time.
Immigration rules, fees and processing times are set by the relevant authorities and change without notice. We confirm the current position for your case at consultation.
